This week we bring you an interview with Crys Aigner, the founder of The Princess
Alexa Foundation, a website dedicated to Celebrating the childhood spirit of seriously
ill children through dress up and play. You can learn about the foundation at
www.princessalexafoundation.org.

PowerCapes: Crys, tell us a little more about the foundation.

Crys Aigner: The Princess Alexa Foundation was formed in August 2008 in memory of
Alexa Aigner, a beautiful 4-year-old girl who loved dressing up to escape the reality of
cancer. We are a 100% volunteer run 501(c)(3) with a mission to celebrate the childhood
spirit of seriously ill children through dress up and play. In our first year, we gifted
just under 5,000 items to seriously ill children across the country through our various
programs.

PowerCapes: I understand you wrote a book about her life, with the proceeds of the
book going to benefit the foundation. Could you please tell our readers where they can
get a copy?

Crys Aigner: There is a link on our website at https://princessalexafoundation.org/Alexa_s_Story.html

PowerCapes: Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

Crys Aigner: This is really about bringing some joy and happiness to these children.

PowerCapes: Crys, Thanks for your time and for all the joy you bring these children.
And as always we hope and pray that everybody has a little superhero in them and makes
a donation to their favorite organization to help all kids in need.
